I am very involved in the war situation in Gaza. While watching a news broadcast in CNN, it seems their news is unbalanced. They’re statements seem very biased, showing facts only on Gaza’s side. For example, they summarized the sequence of events of the situation in Gaza starting with “Israel attacks”. They act completely oblivious to the fact that Hamas started the missile attacks days before. The sequence they presented is very misleading.
Also, CNN news constantly features stories of Palestinian woman and children wounded and dying. They present these stories by saying “While Israeli bombs create clouds of smoke over Gaza, Palestinians suffer with lack of medical supplies… etc.” The way these stories are presented, from the choice of words to the tone of the reporters voice shows utter disgust for the actions Israel is taking to protect it’s people and country.
I’ve heard that CNN has a reputation of biasing news in their party (Democrats) favor. News should be objective without opinion interfering, especially when broadcasting events as huge and important as these. CNN, being a main world news channel, should know this.
Does anyone else notice this bias?

Your completely right buddy. Not only CNN, but pretty much every news source besides, of course, Fox. I can not watch the news because I simply get disgusted. I can only watch Fox. Yes, Fox is biased toward republicans, however, they are obvious and outward about how they feel. CNN, on the other hand, does it secretly, so most of the naive viewers do not notice they are completely being fooled and brainwashed. It’s like subliminal messaging. You are of the very few who notices. One more thing… of course, no news source will say this, and you would never hear it otherwise, but did you know that before Israel bombs an area, they drop flyers, not bombs, flyers, from planes, that read “WE ARE GOING TO BOMB THIS AREA, PLEASE EVACUATE” so that civilians do not get hurt. After they do this, they text message every resident with a phone warning them to leave because that area is a target.
Oh, and did you ever hear on the news how they have been bombing us pretty much forever, and that we did nothing, and right before we defended ourselves they threw more bombs than ever. There is a reason it is called the IDF (Israeli Defense Force). Because not once in history has the IDF attacked somebody. Israel has always strictly defended itself.
See i think that they re crazy, i dont give a damn if people re killing themselves , they brought that to themselves they solve the problem, We the US have a lot on our agenda , our economy is crippling we cant afford to lose the focus on the economy and by the way they re not the only ones suffering, some americans cant afford to eat, So what i say to them is DEAL WITH IT!!!!
Precisely why I don’t watch news. I read online news articles (typically from the AP and Reuters) and do follow-up research on Wikipedia.

I stopped watching CNN long ago. Their coverage of the election showed them to be the propaganda arm of the extreme left wing of the Democrats.
I’m sure that CNN never mentions the fact that Gaza was occupied by the Israeli army until just a few years ago.
In 2005 Israel unilaterally withdrew from Gaza and the West Bank, forcibly removing Jewish settlements in hopes of advancing the road way to peace and the two state solution.
Instead of establishing an independant palestinian state the Arabs in Gaza spent the last three years turning their land into an Iranian sponsored missile base.
This is entirely the fault of Hamas and Iran
Gotta say, I’ve had *completely* the opposite impression. They’re bending over backwards to be so unbiased that it’s ridiculous.
I honestly think democratically elected governments need to be held to a higher moral standard than terrorists. Don’t you?
Where is the outrage when innocent women, children and babies are being blown up in a campaign that can do *nothing* more than increase sympathies for Hamas in the local communities? It’ll increase future terrorism, not make peace more likely!
I think CNN should take a stand and not pretend that what’s going on is morally defensible in any way. Israel is supposed to be the good guy, they’re the western democracy and it’s about time they’re held to account to the media. But they won’t. They’ll keep playing impartial as babies die.
